Waiakea Water is probably the only company in the world to use Hawaii volcanic water as their main source. The truth is that the natural filtration process that occurs when the water flows through thousands of feet of the snow-capped Mauna Loa volcano, becomes naturally enriched with minerals we need. The alkaline rich Waiakea water ph levels range between 7.6 and 8.2, surpassing the standard purified level of seven and making it perfect for consumption. When they launched the brand, it was sold in 900 stores in fourteen states across the U.S. They also sold Waiakea Water in yoga studios, spas, fitness clubs and hotels. With only $12,000 to use for marketing and branding, the founders had to mostly rely on online advertising and social media for word-of-mouth. The premium bottled water brand has quickly caught on and is now one of the fastest growing companies in the United States.
